Bigboi Water Blaster Connections Guide (Upgrade Hose + Foam Cannon Setup) - Lovecars

Bigboi Water Blaster Connections Guide (Upgrade Hose + Foam Cannon Setup)

If you’ve purchased a Bigboi water blaster and want to upgrade your setup, you’ve probably realised something quickly:

The fittings and connections can be confusing.

There’s very little official information from Bigboi on exact thread sizes and compatibility, and different models can vary slightly. We’ve worked directly with customers using Bigboi machines and tested multiple setups to figure out what works — and we now stock the fittings that make it easy.

This guide will show you:

  • How to connect a foam cannon to a Bigboi

  • How to upgrade to a flexible anti-kink hose

  • What fittings you need (and why)

  • The easiest “done-for-you” upgrade option

⚠️ Important Note Before You Start

Bigboi does not publish full connection specifications, and while we’ve tested multiple machines:

Please check your own machine before ordering.

There may be variations between models.

If you try this setup, let us know what worked for your machine — we’ll keep improving this guide to help others.

Connecting a Foam Cannon to a Bigboi

If you want to use a foam cannon like the Rockcar Stealth Blackout Edition, you’ll need the correct adapter.

✅ What you need:

  • Rockcar Stealth Foam Cannon

  • Bigboi-compatible adapter

👉 Required adapter:

Less Common Quick Adapter for Foam Cannons to 1/4 Quick Release

This adapter allows your foam cannon to connect properly to your Bigboi trigger.

This Adapter:  BigBoi and others, less Common Quick Adapter for Foam Cannons to 1/4 quick release

Why this matters

Bigboi uses a less common quick connect style, so standard foam cannon fittings often don’t fit out of the box.

This adapter solves that.

Upgrading Your Bigboi Hose (Highly Recommended)

The standard Bigboi hose works — but it’s stiff, holds memory, and can be frustrating to use.

Upgrading to a Rockcar Flexible Premium Hose makes a huge difference:

  • Anti-kink design

  • Much more flexible

  • Easier to move around the car

  • Feels more “professional”

✅ Recommended hose:

Rockcar Flexible Premium Water Blaster Hose (10m, M22 14mm)

How to connect it to your Bigboi

At the machine end:

  1. Unscrew the brass quick connect fitting on your Bigboi

  1. Underneath, you’ll find an M22 fitting

  2. The Rockcar hose connects directly — no adapter needed

At the trigger end:

To connect the hose to your existing Bigboi trigger:

You’ll need:

Optional upgrade (recommended)

If you want quick-connect functionality on both ends:

This gives you:

  • Fast disconnect at both ends

  • Easier storage

  • Cleaner setup

The Better Option (Recommended Setup)

If you want the best experience, we recommend upgrading more than just the hose.

Go for a full upgrade kit that includes:

  • Rockcar Flexible Hose

  • Rockcar Short Trigger Gun

  • Swivel base (prevents hose tangling)

Link to kit:  Upgrade Kit - Professional Trigger, Flexible Kink resistant 10m hose, adapter and 5 ends.

Why this setup is better

The short trigger + swivel makes a big difference:

  • Easier to control

  • Less wrist fatigue

  • Hose doesn’t fight you

  • Much smoother washing experience

Pro Tip

Flexible hoses get even better after use.

Once they’ve:

  • Been stretched out

  • Warmed in the sun

They become noticeably more flexible and easier to handle.
