Fireball Flash is the easiest way to apply a true ceramic coating – engineered by Fireball Korea, the world’s most advanced ceramic coating manufacturer. Designed for both enthusiasts and professionals, Flash delivers extreme hydrophobic protection, slickness, and gloss in a forgiving formula that’s simple to apply.

Unlike spray waxes or ceramic “quick detailers,” Flash is a full ceramic coating that lasts up to 12 months. During our real-world testing in Christchurch, New Zealand, Flash stood out from other coatings: water didn’t just bead – it actually pushed off the surface, leaving paint drier, cleaner, and more protected.

Key Features:

  • Proper ceramic coating – not a sealant or spray wax.

  • Super hydrophobic effect – water beads and sheets away with ease.

  • Deep gloss & slick finish – creates a silky smooth surface.

  • Durability up to 12 months – long-term protection made simple.

  • Self-cleaning ability – reduces dirt build-up and keeps paint cleaner.

  • Easy application – wide wipe-off window, no stress install.

How to Apply:

  1. Wash and decontaminate your vehicle thoroughly.

  2. Shake Flash bottle upside down before use.  Work in Sections at a time for the following (do half a bonnet at a time):

  3. Apply with microfiber towel (spray until damp) or Fireball applicator pad (5 sprays). Spread evenly in straight lines.  You can also spray it directly onto the paint and spread it evenly with a cloth but watch out for overspray and don't get it on the windows.  We recommend the first option, its easier to control.  We recommend the Rockcar roadie cloth or Show starter applicator or Fireball polish towel.

  1. Once droplets appear, buff gently with some pressure with a clean microfiber towel.

It will first look like sweat then within 1 minute as more of the oils evaporate it will look like droplets.  Buff off then.

Work in Sections, completing one section before moving to the next.  Do half a bonnet at a time.

Avoid washing the vehicle for 24 hours; allow 7 days for full cure.

Fireball Flash Ceramic Coating is the perfect step into professional-grade protection, with the ease and forgiveness that makes it suitable for weekend detailers too.

Coverage Rate:  one 200 ml bottle of Fireball Flash typically covers around 2 – 3 full-size cars (roughly 20–30 m²), depending on the paint surface and application method.

Questions people have asked:

1.  The QR Code on the box doesn't work.

Currently Fireballs QR code is going to a page that is all in Korean, which isn't much help, so we have made this to give you very clear instructions.  Please read these to get the best results trouble free and easy.  If you have any questions please let us know and we'll add to this to make sure it covers everything.

2. What do you mean by Wash and decontaminate your vehicle thoroughly?

-          Wash the vehicle so it is clean.

-          If there have been waxes or sealants on the vehicle (including soaps that contain waxes, sio2, sealants etc) wash the vehicle with a wax stripping soap.  Like this Chemical Guys Clean slate.

-          Clay the vehicle.  We really recommend you clay.  Its easy, and pulls all the contaminants from the pores of the paint so Fash can really get into the pores and bond properly.

-          Wipe down with Fireball Reborn.  This is quick and easy but important.  It cleans the surface of any remaining oils etc to make sure that the surface is cleansed for the coating to bond properly.  If you don’t, it might not bond properly and you may need to reapply it.

Why: Fireball Flash is a proper ceramic coating, so you need to apply it properly it needs to bond to the paint, so if you have old waxes or the pores of the paint are clogged with built up contaminants it might not bond.  Autostolz Enhanced Spray wax for example will go over these and wont worry, but Flash needs to bond.

3. Do you need to polish first?

No, only if you are not happy with the condition of the paint.  If you do polish: clay first, then polish, then wipe with reborn after to remove any polish residue.

4. Can you re use the microfiber cloths?

No, although you could relegate them to dirty jobs like engine bays.  The Cermaic can make them hard and they might scratch paint.

5. Can I use a cheap microfiber cloth?

No, not recommended.  Using a cloth that isn't 70:30 risks scratching the paint, defeating the purpose.  We recommend either the Rockcar Roadies Cloths, Rockcar Show Starter Applicators, Or the Fireball Polish Cloths.

6.  Should I do a test spot first?

Yes, this is always a good idea with any chemical or product.

7. What conditions are best?

Work inside with good lighting in a clean dust free environment

8.  What is a "high spot" and how do I avoid it?

It's like when you mow your lawn, if you miss a bit, it will be higher and rough.  if you miss a bit when buffing off, that bit will harden higher and not smooth, so will look dull.  This is why when you mow your lawns you go in a pattern to make sure you don't miss a bit.  Do the same when buffing off to ensure you don't miss a bit and then you should not get any high spots.
