What Are Water Spots?

Water spots are caused by minerals left behind when water evaporates. Like salt from drying seawater, these minerals stick to paint, glass, and trim, appearing as white or cloudy marks. If left too long, they can etch into the surface, damaging clear coat or glass.

This product removes mineral deposits — not etching. If the marks are still visible after use, they’ve likely etched into the surface, in which case you’ll need to machine polish to fully correct the damage.

In our own Lovecars test video, we showed how fast this product works. We started with a panel pre-cleaned using detail spray and a microfiber towel — we used Speed Wipe, but we now recommend Autostolz Quick Detailer & Clay Lube, which neutralises better, is more cost-effective, and leaves a slicker finish.

How To Use:

• Work out of direct sunlight for best results

• Clean the area with detail spray and microfiber towel

• Apply 3–5 dots of remover to a microfiber applicator pad

• Spread gently over a 60x60 cm area with light pressure

• Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel

• Apply a wax or sealant to prevent future spotting
