When LoveCars founder Adam married Michelle at Pegasus Bay Winery in North Canterbury, he wanted to mark the occasion with something special. He sourced the softest, most premium edgeless microfiber cloth he could find, had it made to his own spec — thicker, heavier, fully edgeless — and colour matched it personally to Pegasus Bay's Pinot Noir — a deep burgundy wine red — sending the RAL code directly to the factory in South Korea.  This exact colour is made exclusively for LoveCars and won't be produced for any other retailer worldwide.

The result was the Pegasus cloth — and we think it's the finest cloth we carry.

Soft, plush, and gentle on your paint

The Pegasus is exceptionally soft, which makes it ideal for final wipe-downs, wax and sealant removal, and show-day detailing. That softness also means it buffers your hand weight beautifully — reducing the risk of marks even on softer, more delicate paint finishes.

If you need more grab for harder buffing work or removing sticker waxes, the Rockcar Roadie is the better choice. But for anything where paint safety is the priority, the Pegasus is hard to beat.
