The 2-Step Process
Step 1 - Defect Removal
Autostolz Heavy Cut Compound is engineered to quickly remove scratches, swirl marks, oxidation and sanding marks up to 1200 grit.
Combined with the Autostolz High Cut Pads, it delivers impressive correction while maintaining low dusting, long work times and easy wipe-off. The result is faster defect removal with excellent finish quality.
Step 2 - Refinement & Gloss
Follow with Autostolz Final Finish Polish and the Autostolz Finishing Pads to refine the paintwork and maximise gloss.
This second step removes light haze, holograms and fine defects left behind during the correction stage, producing a deep reflective finish with exceptional clarity.
Why We Include Eight Pads
Many polishing kits include only one or two pads. As pads become loaded with spent polish and removed paint residue, correction ability decreases and heat increases.
By including four cutting pads and four finishing pads, you can rotate pads throughout the job, helping maintain performance, reduce heat build-up and achieve more consistent results across the entire vehicle.
For most vehicles, multiple pads will produce faster correction, a better finish and a more enjoyable polishing experience than trying to complete the entire vehicle with a single pad.
