Male and Female Adapters for Water Blaster Hoses

Water blaster manufacturers sure try to make it hard by having different quick connect fittings.  There are 5 different quick connect fittings we know of that are common across all machines, and we stock them all.   Don't expect any help from the water blaster manufacturers, they want you to just buy their overpriced lesser accessories.  But its not hard to get the right adapter to get a better set up.  Please understand we are the ones helping here, not the ones trying to make it hard.  There is no guide and manufacturers wont give us the information, we have spent years visiting hard ware stores measuring fittings, trying fritting (and so far not getting thrown out) trying to work this all out, and we are pretty much there.

If you have a Karcher, you need #1.

If you have a Royobi or Ozito you probably need #5 but some older machines had #2.  Theres only a 2 mm difference between these.  The new Ryobi 2030 models are #5

If you Have a Bosch it is normally # 2 or #4.

Here's is a guide we made, to be sure your get the right one make sure you measure accurately.  If you do get the wrong one, it's no problem to swap but its a lot easier to measure and get it right the first time.

Please let us know your model and what it fits, and we will build a list to help others.

To get the female fitting to match, measure the male fitting to identify the #, and then order the corresponding female fitting.

All of these connect to the M22 14 thread,

Some older Stihl and Nilfisk machines have a special thread about 1mm off standard M22 14, probably to intentionally make things hard, we have new adapters to convert these to M22 14 threads arriving end of January 2026.

The thread on most short professional triggers like the Rockcar Professional Water blaster Trigger Upgrade is G 3/8  We have an adapter to convert that to M22 here called "2 threaded Missing Link Connecting Adapter to connect foam trigger to hose connector M22-14mm male;G3/8 male"

We'll keep adding and improving this guide.  Thanks for your help and support, Adam.

You will need one of these, please measure accurately, #2 and #5 are very similar.

If you measure wrong it's no problem to swap, just email us at team@lovecars.co.nz  Please don't give the adapter a bad review if you order wrong one - that's not the adapters fault.  They are solid brass to the dimensions, so if they leak you either ordered the wrong one, or you haven't used thread tape or tightened it enough.  We are here to help., but you need to measure correctly.  If you're not sure order the try and return pack.
