This is one of our most popular products. It's a water-based trip shine and protectant. It looks very natural, and dried dry to touch, not stocky and shiny. It's especially good on plastic dashes. It soaks in to nourish and protect and the end result doesn't look like you have put something on it, it just looks like it is newer, which is the look we like.
It's water based, which means water soluble, so in New Zealand we don't recommend it on exterior as it can spot or run in the rain, (if you are looking for an exterior trim product that will stand up to NZ weather we recommend Fireball Showcar Tyre & trim Shine which has very high SiO2 and lasted the longest by far in our NZ winter weather test). You may see videos of Chemical Guys in LA applying VRP to tyres and exterior trim, thats fine in LA where they dont get much rain! They don't know what rain is... in New Zealand we do!
For interior vinyl, rubber and coloured plastic trim (not clear plastic), this is a great product. Its also popular for our second hand parts sales customers, to make interior parts look and feel newer (to sell faster for more).
VRP is an easy-to-use protectant that restores a deep black look, enhances shine, and protects vinyl, rubber, and plastic surfaces against harmful UV solar rays.

Trim pieces made from vinyl, rubber, and plastic are sensitive to fading and staining caused by exposure to harmful UV rays, water, and sources of contamination and pollution. VRP helps restore a like-new appearance to exterior and interior vinyl, rubber, and plastic car parts. The premium water-based cream dressing nourishes and protects these surfaces to restore a like-new deep-black shine.
Easy To Spread Formula Protects
VRP creates the perfect new appearance on interior and exterior surfaces, not a greasy wet look. Specialty UV blockers act like sunscreen for plastic pieces, repelling harmful solar rays that bleach, fade, and crack sensitive car parts. VRP leaves no-residue and finishes dry-to-the-touch. Surfaces treated with VRP last longer, look better, and provide the perfect final touch to your detail.
