How to Use
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Mix 30–90 ml (1–3 oz) of Autostolz Snow Foam per 1 liter of water in your foam cannon.
- Apply directly to a dry vehicle without pre-rinsing.

- Rinse thoroughly from bottom to top, then back again.

Ideal for regular washing and prewashing without risk of corrosion or damage.
Directions:
Shake bottle well. Add 30-90 ml per 1L foam cannon (1-3 oz). Do not rinse first. Foam evenly onto vehicle.
Allow the soap 5 mins to work before rinsing off. Avoid letting soap dry. Rinse off from bottom to top, then back.
Use on cool surfaces only, surface should not exceed 30⁰C (86⁰F). With all chemicals always do a small, subtle test spot first. Do not let freeze.
We say:
This is by far the highest foaming snow foam we have ever tried. Super thick foam, really dense, and clings for a long time. We are big fans of the Autostolz Premium Auto wash which by its chemistry does not foam, so were excited to try their snow foam. And wow does it impress.
This is pH neutral, and does not include any waxes sealants or ceramics, its designed to be used as a snow foam and to do that job well. The main goal here is lubrication and long dwell times, it does exactly what its meant to do, and does it better than any other snow foam we have tried, and we have tried a lot!
Real NZ Testing in Christchurch:
We tested on two Cars:
- Michelles Mazda that was dirty, parked outside and had not been washed for a few weeks.
- And the black test car that we had gotten filthy for many months, parted under a tree with birds, next to railway tracks etc.
Normal Clean on a well maintained but dirty car
This car was dirty, had been parted outside and driven around Christchurch for a few weeks. It's normally washed with Autostolz Premium Auto wash so has some Sio2 protection from those washes which will have helped. We used 90ml of Autostolz Snow Foam with water in a 1 Litre Rockcar Stealth Foam Cannon, foamed on left for 5 minutes and rinsed off. As it came up very clean we did not do a mitt wash, just dried with the Rockcar Performer Drying towel.
The foam was impressive. Much thicker than the other snow foams we have been using, and it smelled nice. It clung to the vehicle longer than normal, which is good as it means it will have had more time to work loosening the dirt.
When we hosed off the after was beading, this will be from the Autostolz Premium Auto Wash used easier, as the snow foam does not include any SiO2 or waxes or sealants. In Snow foam that's what we prefer to reduce the risk of streaks. And the high end chemicals to ass water beading and shine also tend to inhibit foam production.
We were expecting to have to follow up with a bucket wash but in this case the car was really well cleaned and looked create, super shiny and water beading, so a one step was all we needed here.
However, this was as the car had been previously well maintained and was not too dirty. We test a really dirty car in our next test...
Very Dirty Car test
This car was filthy, parked under a cherry tree that birds love, next to the railway tracks, driven around Christchurch and Canterbury. Not washed for months. no coatings or any protection on it.
We flowed the same process, 90ml of Autostolz Snow Foam with water in a 1 Litre Rockcar Stealth Foam Cannon, foamed on left for 5 minutes and rinsed off.
The foam again was impressive, very thick and dense, just what you want in a snow foam. It removed most but not all of the dirt, which is what we'd expect. It removed all the bird poo which was impressive, and most of the dirt, but not everything. But this was a really filthy car with no layers of protection and very rough paint. We would not expect any snow foam or prewash to remove everything, even the strong alkaline ones. If they could, they would be so strong they would damage paint over time. This is a safe pH neutral snow foam, and it cleaned and removed at least as well as the strong alkaline and citrus prewashes, but with high foam and much safer. We followed up with a Mit was with the Autostolz Premium Auto wash. We used 2 buckets, Mitt slides and the fireball wash mitt. And dried again with our favorite drying towel, the Rockcar Performer drying towel. Wow. This is a winning combination.
Conclusion:
This is a very good snow foam and out new favorite, it does exactly what it says and does it well. Highly recommended. While you can get away with a snow foam only on well protected and maintained cars, all cars would benefit from a snow foam first followed by a mitt wash. For both e recommend Autostolz, the Autostolz Snow foam as a prewash, the Autostolz Premium Auto wash as a mitt wash. This is the best soap combination we have tested.
