Chemical Guys air fresheners are fun, bold and easy to use.

How to Get the Best Results

The best fragrance in the world won't perform well if the car itself isn't clean.

Step 1 – Remove the Source

Check under the seats, in the boot, door pockets and cup holders for rubbish, damp items or anything causing the smell.

Step 2 – Clean the Interior

Vacuum carpets, seats and floor mats. If the interior is dirty, clean the surfaces first before adding fragrance.

Step 3 – Remove Bad Odours

If the smell is caused by pets, milk, mould, dampness or spills, use an enzyme odour eliminator first. Once the odour has been removed, add your preferred fragrance.

Step 4 – Apply Your Fragrance Correctly

Spray fragrances

Use only a few light sprays onto carpets, floor mats or under the seats. Avoid over-applying. A subtle fragrance almost always smells better than one that's too strong.

Diffuser fragrances

Place the diffuser securely in a cup holder or other stable position.

For vehicles, we recommend using the included wooden ball diffuser, which provides a gentle, consistent fragrance while helping keep the bottle sealed during normal driving.

For your home or office, use one, two or three diffuser sticks depending on how strong you'd like the fragrance to be.

Step 5 – Freshen the Air Conditioning

Stale smells often come from the ventilation system rather than the cabin itself.

Turn the air conditioning on, select recirculation mode and spray a small amount of fragrance into the recirculation intake near the front passenger footwell (location varies by vehicle). Let the fan circulate for a few minutes to help freshen the vents.
