HOW TO CLEAN AND PROTECT CONVERTIBLE TOPS

Everyone loves having a convertible car. Cruising along the beach with the top down, wind streaming through your hair, it’s as good as it gets. However, many people simply do not know how to care for their convertible soft tops. These soft tops can get quite dirty from pollution, contamination and water damage. This causes the convertible tops to deteriorate, fade in color and lose their OEM look. Follow these simple steps to clean and protect your convertible top!

FIRST, CLEAN WITH CONVERTIBLE TOP CLEANER

STEP 1

Spray Convertible Top Cleaner directly on the convertible top. Allow it to sit for a second to saturate and emulsify any dirt or grime. The advanced cleaning formula is safe on fabric, vinyl, synthetic convertible soft tops, and tonneau covers.

THEN, PROTECT WITH CONVERTIBLE TOP PROTECTANT

It is important to protect your convertible top because water, pollution, and other contaminants can seep into it and cause it to deteriorate. Convertible Top Protectant adds a layer of protection that prevents water and other pollutants from seeping into the top and damaging it over time. The protectant’s hydrophobic properties bead water right off to prevent mold from forming thus keeping your top fresh as can be!

STEP 4

Gently mist Convertible Top Protectant on to the soft top and allow it to cure for 15-20 minutes. This will protect the soft top from pollution, harsh elements and gives it a nice water-resistant barrier. A second coat can be added for enhanced protection if desired.
