It is important to prepare the surface properly before applying a ceramic coating, or it may not bond properly. We offer all ceramic coatings by themselves and also in Kits. The Kits come with a 500ml bottle of Fireball Reborn to effectively remove oils prior to a ceramic coating or sealant application, and 4 Fireball polishing towels to buff off properly. We have subsidised the prices of the Kits to make them better value as we want to you to install them properly so that you get the best results.
Before applying a ceramic coating, make sure the surface has been properly cleaned. Clay with a quality clay and clay lube, optionally re wash, and then cleanse with Fireball Reborn.
Even new cars should be clayed, as there will be contaminants in the paint from the factory, shipping, and travel home. Claying is quick and easy and will get you the best results.
We recommend the ValetPro clay kit, Light clay on a new car, medium on most, heavy for badly contaminated paint.
In some situations, you may also want to use an iron remover to remove Iron as well, if for example the vehicle has been transported by train to a port there may be iron from the train wheels. This is common on new German vehicles.
