"I Just Want to Wash My Car And Make It Look Shiny" - Michelle

We can get a bit carried away with all the options and choices, this kit just gives you what you need to clean and dry your car and quickly and easily add shine and protection.  We made this kit for Michelle, who said..

"I just want to wash my car and make it look shiny.  I don't want to muck around with your blob blob blob stuff, I just want to wash it, dry it, and spray and wipe something quick to make it look good." - Michelle.

Happy wife, happy life, this is what we put together:

1x Our best soap, Autostolz premium Auto Wash, 500ml, 

1x Chemical Guys Ultra Clear Bucket

1x Rockcar Mitt Slide to sit in the bucket to wash your mitt and keep the wash water cleaner

1x Rockcar reef wash mitt, a basic but effecitve wash mitt.

1x Rockcar performer drying towel, this towel is impressive, super absorbent, big and sort with thick piles to reduce scratch risk

1 x Autostolz Enhanced Spray Wax with SiO2 polymers.  You don't have to understand the chemistry to appreciate this, its quick, easy and it just works.

2x Green Pop Rockcar roadie microfiber cloths, great to use the the Autostolz Enhanced Spray Wax.

It's a lot for the money as we know once you try these products you will love them!  You can add a second bucket and Mitt slide if you want to be a 2 bucket pro, but this is a great starting pack, and makes a great gift for someone who loves their car, or someone who doesn't know what to use.  They will be impressed.  If you want been keen to try the new Autostolz products this is also a great kit to try.

Autostolz Premium Auto Wash (500ml) SiO2 polymers and drying aid

A highly complex blend of surfactants, SiO2 and special polymers to produce rapid and instant water sheeting and fast drying. Reduces water spots and maximises cleaning efficiency. High lubrication for effective washing without scratching. Long lasting thick foam. Adds protection and a high shine and gloss. Can be used in a foam cannon or bucket wash. PH neutral. Biodegradable. Does not streak, does not remove existing waxes and sealants. Reduces water spotting. Concentrated high performance soap. Gentle on surfaces. Safe on ceramic and graphene coated vehicles. Will not harm clearcoat, polished aluminium or chrome.

We say: 

This soap impresses.  They don't talk it up too much, but man it works well.  You just wash like normal and then you look at the beading and shine.  Wow.  It's like to ceramic coated but you didn't, all you did is wash.  It's so easy and so impressive and its all we are using now to wash our cars at home.    If I had to pick one soap this is it.  Really love it.  It doesn't foam as much in a foam cannon as others, but it cleans really well, and the shine and protection, wow.

That is just from a wash!  No polishing, no waxing, to coatings, no glazes, not even a quick detailer.  All we did was wash it with Autostolz premium auto wash.   We use the reef wash mit in a bucket with the mitt slide, and dried it with the rockcar performer towel, although there wasn't much to dry as a lot of the water had already sheeted off!  one quick wash and it looks like I spent hours on it.  this product really impressed me, and is my new go to, especially for black cars. No filters or tricks, photo shot on phone with wet hands as washing outside in the sun.  

DIRECTIONS:

Shake bottle well. Add 30-90 ml per 18L bucket or 1L foam cannon (1-3 oz per 5-gallon bucket or standard 34oz foam cannon). Wash in straight lines with a soft wash mitt/pad. Allow the soap 5 mins to work before hosing off. Avoid letting the soap dry. Use on cool surfaces only, surface should not exceed 30⁰C (86⁰F). With all chemicals always do a small, subtle test spot first. Do not let freeze.

Note - Special Seal under lid to avoid leaks needs to be removed:

The bottle has a really good reusable seal inside the lid, we wish all products had this!  When you receive the bottle your lid will sit a bit higher, you need to unscrew the lid, and remove the seal then screw the pop top lid back on.  Its normally very easy but if its tricky use something flat to pry it off like a screw driver or butter knife.  It really works, we had some samples air freighted over and they were repacked by customs upside down, they arrived without any leaks!  (don't try that at home).  You can keep and re use the seal if you like.

DIRECTIONS:

Shake bottle well. Use on cool surfaces only, surface should not exceed 30⁰C (86⁰F). Spray evenly directly onto a dry or wet vehicle surface, or onto a clean high quality soft microfiber cloth. Wipe the surface in straight lines, then swap to a new clean cloth or side and buff to a high shine. Use cloths flat folded to the size of your hand. Swap to a clean side/cloth regularly as needed. Use only high-quality soft microfiber cloths. With all chemicals always do a small, subtle test spot first. Do not let freeze

Rockcar Performer Large Soft Drying Towel - Our Favorite Drying Towel!

Super absorbent, large & Soft drying towel.

Most drying towels talk about how fast they dry, and yes this towel is amazingly absorbent and the fastest drying towel we have tested.  but more importantly it does not scratch the surface and has a long super soft twisted loop weave to avoid dragging any grit or dirt left on the surface across the paint.  It is hands down our favorite drying towel, and is seriously impressive.

The perfect size and weight for maximum scratch free drying while still being manageable.  In our testing we found going larger or heavier made the towel too had to work with especially when heavy with absorbed water.  We found this size and weight to be the sweet spot of maximum absorbency without being too large or heavy when wet to work with.  Though we recombed using a dry cloth for each vehicle for best results.   Often we were able to dry 2 cars with the same cloth!

Mitt Slide - Mint Blue

The Mitt Slide is a new product made in Korea, and is a huge step up on previous models.  We are a big fan.  It is curved so it doesn't just sit in the bottom, but curves up the side, so that you can easily wash the grip off your wash mitt as you put it in the bucket.  The gaps are tapered to the grit falls through the mitt slide and is trapped on the other side.  

It keeps your wash mitt and wash water clean, reducing the chances of scratching your car dramatically.

Most scratches on your car come from washing it, you wipe the dirt and grit off, then back in to the wash bucket where it all ends up back on the mitt again, where you then go and rub this grit covered mitt all over your cars paint again.  Those swirly scratches on your paint, chances are they are from grit on your mitt like this when you wash.
